Incorrect checking of blind spot - 1x 2ptsĬause other vehicles to slow down or take evasive action - 1x 8pts ![]() If you need to deviate from test route it's ok can always go another route and try again. All in all I think I got a really nice tester, instructions were clear and concise.Īgain, safety first there's no need to rush. After that we went back to school and the debrief was in the car, he basically asked what happened just now since he saw the car signal and gonna change lane and I shouldn't have even attempted to change lane. This time there wasn't many cars on road (damn heng) so I could change lane and make the u-turn easily. In the end I told him I can't make the u-turn so he make me go 1 round and try again. After that went out on road, at bukit batok u-turn I got 8 pts when trying to change lane from left to middle, basically got one car on extreme right lane wanted to go middle lane and I shouldn't have even considered changing lane. Circuit went well, had to readjust my vertical parking but basically don't panic and take your time. Think I had the entire circuit to myself with just a handful of other test cars. My test started almost immediately after my warm-up (around 3:20pm), wasn't expecting that. Spent $2465 in total, 19 practical lessons and 4 revision classes. I passed my TP on my second attempt today as well w/ 18 demerit points. If anyone need tips at BBDC test, feel free to reply my message here and I will try my best to give tips as much as possible (still fresh in my memory now) Also dependent if you got a lenient tester or not (usually those uncle TP very lenient, will guide u during test.) Try to book morning slot for TP (not much people in circuit, out on road quite clear also). To summarize: Pray for lenient tester, drive safely and comfortably on road and he may close one eye if u make mistakes. ![]() And thank you for this thread that we can find information and get together. For all BBDC learners next time, I pray you get him as your tester (Malay uncle). Thank you to this lenient malay uncle who closed one eye on my IF. End up he said my driving on road not bad, but need to be more confident during lane change. Then he came back, sat down and said "why are u so nervous? Relax. Sat in the room waiting like an idiot knowing I'm gonna retake TP again for F sake. Told him I got distracted and walked with heavy heart to level 2. Then we walked up together and he was asking me what happened? I was doing well in circuit. So i did the vertical parking nicely and one shot go one, then we drove back to starting point. Due to this, my rear left wheel mounted kerb and dropped down (my heart dropped as well cause I know it is IF). So he guide me to a vertical parking slot, but during this part, I got distracted by him cause he asked me to turn at junction then turn right again immediately (late by him). So we came back to BBDC and I thought ok, test gonna end (but i remember we havent done vertical parking). 1 x 4 demerit points for change lane abruptly (not sure where?) and lastly, 1 x 2 demerit point for fail to check mirror before moving off (also not sure where?) Total 10 demerit points for my TP. Out on road, I have gotten 2 x 2 demerit points (first one free count so only 2 points) for delay in moving off (right turn at junction, alot of bus and cars so I hold back to move off). I told him we just did that, and he said nvm lets go out. Story: Everything went well in circuit with no demerit points, but tester forgot or something and asked me to do parallel parking twice? LOL. To anyone taking TP in future, good luck and all the best! Total spent: $2.8k school learner.
